It seems event producers have been seeking peace amongst the chaos this season. However, despite the storms, the themes of sustainability and giving back to the community continue to act as a bright light.

Beautiful NoiseBeautiful Noise Live will take place September 19-23 in Atlanta. Live Nation Women and The United State of Women look to empower women through forums and concerts stressing the importance of voting.

Festival Gives BackLollapalooza's unused food supply distributed five thousand pounds of food to surrounding communities. This effort was made possible by Musically Fed, an organization committed to fighting hunger through the music industry's efforts. To date, 413,021 meals have been distributed nationwide.

Festival Falls Short 

Kingston Music Festival joins the Canadian criticism list after a weekend of a non-existent VIP experience. Fan photos included shots of folding table bars and poor security distinguishing general admission from VIP.

Community Outreach Gone WrongNeighborhood complaints have been filed against Riot Fest, leading to a community meeting. The festival is receiving backlash as community members do not support the festival, and the meeting tone left a poor taste in the mouths of those who attended.

Main Stage Take DownAcross the pond, Glasgow’s Junction 1 venue is set to remove its open-air main stage after noise complaints voiced by surrounding neighbors.

Healthcare On The TablePollen faces more trouble as they look to work through individualized plans with employees set to lose healthcare and has been canceling and postponing tickets to upcoming events.

In live events, we learn to expect the unexpected. Here are just a few recent “unexpected” events:Overcrowding at Primavera Sound in Barcelona seems to be caused by event comebacks leaving staff rusty.A partial stage collapse at Medusa Festival in Spain left 1 dead and more than 20 injured as strong winds tore through the venue.Gunfire outside Pennsylvania’s Musikfest was reported as an isolated incident, allowing the event to continue the next day.Strong winds and rain at Mile of Music caused the closure of 8 or 9 stages at the Wisconsin festival; some were moved indoors, and other music was canceled completely.Ontario’s Boots & Hearts had Sam Hunt back out due to Covid vaccine requirements before the fest AND a temporary evacuation when storms rolled through during the fest.Heavy rain and lightning caused WE Fest to cancel Miranda Lambert’s performance and fans to seek shelter.
